MAINTROVA

Her body says it yearns for freedom. The curves and the lines of her body retain memories that are dark, as dark as her hair.  She chooses to hide those memories, but those memories somehow appear in the depth of her eyes.

 And now she just wants to celebrate victory from the thorny roads and the darkest days, to eventually claim her true authentic self, to claim her triumph.

 This series is my tribute to her, Viki Maintrova. For she reminds me that we don't get to choose who we are born to be, but we can decide who we want to be.
